Archivist, Journalist expert in Antiques/Collectibles/Auctions

 

Scott E. Green has been active as a writer in a wide range of niches and specialties.  In the course of a fruitful writing career, four categories have come to predominate; poetry in the science fiction/fantasy/horror genres ;

writing on the related fields of antiques, collectibles and auctioneering; business journalism; and general reporting and feature writing for local newspapers.

 

His poetry has appeared in dozens of print and web publications.  Some of the more significant ones include

AEON, AMAZING, ASIMOV'S, ASTROPOETICA, HEART OF NEW HAMPSHIRE MAGAZINE, MYTHIC DELERIUM, SPACE AND TIME, STAR*LINE , STRANGE HORIZONS and WRITER'S JOURNAL.  In addition, he has published three poetry collections, edited a fourth and his poetry has appeared in twenty anthologies.

 

In the antique/collectibles/auction field his work has appeared in dozens of national, regional and local publications.  Some of his work appears in national publications including ANTIQUE TOY WORLD, ANTIQUE TRADER WEEKLY, THE APPRAISER'S STANDARD, BIG REEL, COLLECTOR CAR AND TRUCK MARKET GUIDE, COMIC BUYERS GUIDE, FARM COLLECTOR, OLD CARS, TEDDY BEARS AND FRIENDS and TOY TRACTOR TIMES.  In addition he writes a column on collecting for the NH collectors publication UNRAVEL THE GAVEL.

 

His work as a business journalist has appeared in both national and local publications including BUSINESS NEW HAMPSHIRE, COMMUNITY REGIONAL AIRLINE NEWS, CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT GUIDE, INDEPENDENT BANKER, NEW ENGLAND MEETINGS AND EVENTS, NEW HAMPHIRE BUSINESS REVIEW, NEW HAMPSHIRE EMPLOYMENT DIGEST, NEW HAMPSHIRE HOSPITAL NEWS and PI MAGAZINE.

 

As a free lance reporter and feature writer his articles have appeared in 25 newspapers.
